1/3/2026 Trackset all of Still including Whiskey Springs. Misting early light rain by 1PM,trace of sun and a rainbow on the way back in. Spots on Cooks Run and Still gate to Baney's are down to ice base and a couple of spots up from Still gate have no base. Recommend skiing counterclockwise. Day's Tally: 7 skiers, 2 dogs,2 traked? UTVs and one blind hunting roadside raptor.
12/31 Happy New Year and it starts with a whole trackset on Edna. The fourth campaign got 'er. Still haven't made it up Big Burn. Great snow, no traffic, sun and hoarfrost.
12/28 Trackset Still Cr. Branches(Still) and spots where track was right down to ice base. Had 4" accumulated at Baney's bench. Day's Tally: Three wise men (cat hunters, one energetic Whitetail and one groomsman.
12/26 The elves all got layoff notices post Christmas so went track clearing and setting instead. We got almost to the Edna-Swamp saddle. By the time we got back to trailhead ~2" of new was on the track.
12/24 Skied Still today. Conditions were fair with skiff new, a good bit of foliage and a no base patch down from Baney"s Bench to Still Cr. Huzzahs to County road crew, main road sanded and parking area cleared. Day's tally one skier and one UTV track seeker. We are planning to clear and set Edna Friday for those naughty or nice
12/22 Cleared Still Cr and Whiskey Springs with snowmobile packed track. No base at parking but packed wheel/snowmobile paths have base. Recommend rock/branch skis. 12/19 Cleared Edna to Big Burn cutback road and set track. Plenty debris,good snow. The snow has held well with Edna staying cooler and seems to have gotten more snow than Grave Creek snotel.
12/13 Set Edna today without Big Burn. 1two ad hoc creeklets on the Cayuse-Pony cutacross. Trackwas good at 1130 light overnight freeze and some softness under ski.
12/12/2025 Skied Edna today to Cayuse. Good conditions, froze overnight with lonely flakes and snow spit. 34F. when I left at 10. Probably a day late but will try to reset Edna Saturday. Days tally: more snow downed trees and one skier.
12/7/25 Set StillCr. today. Great snow,track packed well. Had my rock skiis but had no contentions. With warming conditions best skiing is early.Day's Tally: Numerous snowfalls (tired trees) some over the new track deer, two Road browsers,one track tester.
12/5/2025 We set Edna today including portion of Bear Flat on 8+" of fluff. Snow was still dry when we left at 2PM before the new storm moved in. Still Cr. next up possibly late weekend. Day"s Tally: numerous snow load trees,some tracks, 2 done in groomsmen and one skier.
12/3/2025 Planning the first trackset of the season up Edna Friday Last report was 9-10" at trailhead before this last snow. Still needs more snow and have had no report on Foothills conditions. Indian Springs fairway may be usable but stay away from paved/gravel cart paths unless you want extra base traction.
2/21 Trackset for tomorrow's Birkie at Still Cr.
2/18/2025 Set track at Indian Springs, 2 North loops and an abbreviated East one. Test ski and forecast says enjoy it now.
2/13/2025 Track at Edna was reset today including Bear Flat/Big Burn. Good and plentiful snow reported with fresh coat coming.

2/6/2025 Double Header, trackset Va.Hill and Still Cr. No test ski. Day"s Tally: 3 Apparently surprised Whitetail, 2 Done Groomsmen and a lot of total alone.
2/5/2025 First part of schedule worked out and we trackset both legs of Foothills. We were able to set a parallel corduroy from Therriault Cr. back down to the 7077 junction
2/4/2025 On the verge of warmers temps,tapering snowfall and and groom crew coming out of powder sabbatical. . Foothills followed by Va/Hill and Still. Edna...(need to drink more at the Trego Pub). Broke trial today on Cook"s,Flattop,Tepee Trail and part of Lookout on Va.Hill.
2/2/2025 Among the many chosen who skied StillCr. today it was noticed that the track was NOT reset as planned. the track per all reports was excellent even two weeks out from the last reset. Day's Tally: >8skiers,one snowmobile party,a late to the banquet raven and a non accredited German Shepperd.
1/30/2025 Plan is to reset Still Cr. early Saturday courtesy of Yamaha and expected fresh snow

1/17/2025 Foothills was reset today as well as Still Cr. except for Whiskey Springs. No opportunity to test ski.
1/12/2025 Set the Wolf Moon track this morning to lifting fog at Slick's Gulch. No test ski or moon predictions for tonight's ski
1/10/2025 Set Orbit on Va.Hill today. Had to use centerline for a lot of track expect it won't stay virgin for long. Upper Cooks Run Flattop have been ski tracked recently.Other interior trails Fine powder and TP Lake road has some pullouts plowed but be aware of traffic.

1/3/2025 Reset Edna today including Bear Flat/Big Burn. Light dry snow and lots. Not snowing when we left but if overnight prediction is true track should be real snowy by Saturday. May get to Still set this weekend depending on snowfall. Days tally:2 groomsmen,2 intermittent skiers,one split boarder and a sad grouse.
12/30/2024 Still was reset today with 1-2" new snow. Not enough snow to have interior trails on Va. Hill and roads have been heavily used. Did get a very nice glide on Tepee Lake Rd. with 1+' of fluff over wheel pack grooming.
